Our bodies are always changing, and thus dance will always be a constant challenge. There is always room to grow, isolations and layers to master, new fusions created and old traditions to be explored and interpreted.
Belly dance is a 6,000-year-old form of dance, characterized by undulations, isolations and layered movements. The movements of the hips and the abdomen make belly dance uniquely designed for women. Glow Dance and Fitness Studios celebrates this expression by exploring all of the belly dance derivative forms, including tribal-fusion, Spanish-fusion, numerous Middle-Eastern folk dances, Bollywood and Bhangra just to name a few.

I am Sabeeya, and Glow Dance and Fitness Studios is my passion come to life! I’ve been belly dancing since 2006. Since then, I have been dancing in restaurants, shows, competitions, weddings, corporate celebrations, private lessons, community and cultural events—you name it, I’ve probably performed there. While performing is an integral part of dancing, teaching has always been my passion. I get to share in the experience when a student begins to realize what their body is capable of—the point when she can apply the technique and combine it with artistic expression and consider herself a dancer. And then I can challenge her to become better.
